Help… Marcus Ferguson says his unique combination of treatment can rapidly free people from stress-induced emotional problems.

Treatment raises spirits

IT is well documented that too much stress can impact on physical and emotional wellbeing.

Marcus Ferguson, of Heart Mind Spirit Therapies, believes his unique combination of counselling, hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming can rapidly free people from stress-induced emotional problems.

“I have worked with many people with diagnosed depression, post traumatic stress disorder and other stress and anxiety problems” Mr Ferguson said.

“Most of them have been surprised to see how rapidly their symptoms can be eliminated and have been pleased to find themselves no longer dependant on their medications.”

Mr Ferguson said his three-pronged approach was more effective than counselling alone.

“In counselling, we talk about problems and help the client gain understanding and direction,” he said.

“This is useful and powerful, but is limited in its impact on the client.

“Hypnotherapy and NLP have a deeper impact because they affect the unconscious mind.  This means the client walks away changed.”

Mr Ferguson works with individuals, couples and children, dealing with emotional issues such as depression, anger management, assertiveness and anxiety, and behaviour changes such as eating, weight loss and smoking.

STRESS, anxiety and depression are part of many people's lives, as are relationship breakdown and lack of motivation.

Heart Mind Spirit Therapies, at Tumbi Umbi, offers a combination of counselling, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy which has shown to be effective against emotional and relationship problems.

Whether you are struggling with a particular event in life which you can't get past, or struggling with feelings you don't understand, you don't have to struggle

alone. What makes my approach effective is two things," said company founder Marcus Ferguson.

"First, finding practical solutions to real problems - a course of action or a direction that will lead

to a solution and second, a deep understanding of what makes people behave the way that they do - what is behind their actions. This allows me to help people change how they feel, let go of the past and follow through with the solution."

Mr. Ferguson also offers healing in regard to issues related to intimacy and sexuality, both for individuals and for couples, using Tantric principles.

"Many people fear getting involved in counselling because they expect it to be an unpleasant experience. Many are surprised at how much they enjoy sessions, and how rapidly things begin to change."
